Kara Brown is an award-winning Design Director based in San Francisco. She has spent the past two decades developing design systems and compelling brands for companies throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

She started her career in the media industry where she honed her skills in visual design, identity development, project management, problem solving, marketing, promotions, and strategic thinking while perpetually adapting to the evolving landscape of information and communication. Her talents include creative/art direction, UX/UI, usability, digital, print and environmental design. 

In between projects she enjoys sharing her knowledge of design and production with local students and encouraging young designers to be excited by the possibilities and power of design as a force for communication and shaping the future. What she most loves about being a Design Director is creating unique and inspiring experiences that touch on our collective human connection.
